Day 1 Darjeeling: Arrival

Day 2 Darjeeling: Local Sightseeing

Start your day with a tasty breakfast and get ready for a sightseeing tour afterwards. The sightseeing tour will
carry you to different locations such as the Institute of Himalayan Mountaineering, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing
Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, etc. The Peace Pagoda, tea plantations, Padmaja Naidu Zoo, and
Nightingale Park are several other locations to visit in Darjeeling. Get back to the room later for an overnight stop

Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center

This is primarily a Tibetan refugee rehabilitation centre, but since the place offers an opportunity to indulge in
a shopping experience, it has also emerged as a popular tourist destination. Initially, this assistance center was set
up with the aim of making the Tibetan community in Darjeeling self-dependent by giving them the opportunity
to earn money.



Himalayan Mountaineering Institute

This institute was founded on 4 November 1954 with the primary objective of fostering peoples interest in the sport of
mountaineering. This institute is actually the best school for training mountaineers. Thus, to fulfill their dreams, aspiring
mountaineers must apply to this institution.


Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

This park is one of the most popular places to see in Darjeeling, best known for its breeding program of Red Panda and
Snow Leopard. The Zoological Park, spread over a vast 65.56 acres of land, is home to some of India’s most endangered
animal species, including snow leopards, red pandas, and Himalayan salamanders.


Nightingale Park

Nightingale Park is one of the most visited places in Darjeeling and is a public park that attracts a large influx of tourists
throughout the year. With its magnetic views of the majestic Kanchenjunga, the main reason why people visit this park is.


Peace Pagoda

It is a Buddhist shrine that is part of 30 structures spread around the world that are identical. With gold painted
sculptures, which are the highlight of the entire Pagoda, this white-colored building is accentuated.
There are four Buddha avatars, including the famous Maitreya Buddha, located within the building.


Tenzing Rock

It is a large natural rock named after Tenzing Norgay, who, with Edmund Hillary in 1953, was the first man to climb Mt.
Everest. For amateurs as well as experienced climbers, the place also serves as a training venue.



Day 3 Mirik: Explore Mirik

Post brunch, go on an exciting Mirik excursion for 4 nights and 5 days included in your Darjeeling family trip
itinerary today. Sumendu Pool, Bokar Ngedon Chokhor Ling Monastery, Simana View Point, Tingling View Point,
etc, are some of the places worth exploring in Mirik. Get back to the hotel for an overnight stay until you are
finished for the day.



Day 4 Darjeeling: Tiger Hill Excursion

When you go on an early morning excursion to Tiger Hill, Day 4 begins early. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the sunrise
from Tiger Hill. Enjoy a visit to the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. You may also chose to visit the
Bengal Natural History Museum and Darjeeling Observatory Hill. End the day at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Batasia Loop

To minimize the elevation of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, it is a mesmerizing toy train route that was brought into
existence. Batasia Loop provides spectacular views of the valley and the snowy abode of Mt. Kanchendzonga, set in the

Bengal Natural History Museum

Bengal Natural History Museum is one of the most famous museums you can find in the area, a great place for the
patrons of history and nature. This unique museum is devoted to the regions rich wildlife and biodiversity and to its history.
The museum is divided into two wide sections and has numerous sub-sections where there are specimens of a variety of
avifauna and fauna in the region.
