Tour Overview

Trace the spectacular ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire in Hampi and explore the 6th-century rock cave architecture of the Chalukyas in Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal.

Select Package Plan:

Day 1: Gadag Station to Hospete (Hampi)

Arrival at Gadag Station. Transfer to Hospete. Afternoon study tour of Hampi: Virupaksha Temple, monolithic Ganesha, Lakshmi Narasimha, Lotus Mahal, and Elephant Stables. Sunset view from Hemakuta Hill. Overnight in Hospete.

Day 2: Badami Caves & Heritage Sites

Explore the four iconic rock-cut Badami Cave Temples. Visit Bhutanatha Temple near Agastya Lake. Afternoon visit to Pattadakal (UNESCO) and Aihole Durga Temple. Overnight in Hospete.

Day 3: Vittala Temple & Coracle Ride

Visit the famous Vittala Temple (Stone Chariot & Musical Pillars). Traditional Coracle ride on the Tungabhadra River. Drop at Gadag station for overnight return train.

Day 1: Arrival & Royal Center Hampi

Transfer from Gadag station to Hospete hotel. Explore Hampi Bazaar, Virupaksha, Lotus Mahal, and Elephant Stables. Climb Hemakuta Hill. Overnight in Hospete.

Day 2: Vittala Complex & Coracle Adventure

Explore Vijaya Vittala temple Stone Chariot. Undergo river studies with a Coracle ride on the Tungabhadra River. Visit Anegundi. Overnight in Hospete.

Day 3: Arts & Craft Village Work Study

Visit The Kishkinda Trust workshops in Anegundi (study sustainable banana fiber weaving). Visit Hampi Art Labs (9-acre arts center) and transition through JSW Vidyanagar Township. Overnight in Hospete.

Day 4: Badami Rock-cut Caves

Drive to Badami. Explore all 4 sandstone cave temples, Archaeological Museum, and Bhutanatha Temple at Agastya Lake. Overnight in Badami.

Day 5: UNESCO Pattadakal & Aihole

Visit Banashankari Amma temple, Pattadakal group (Chalukyan architecture), and Aihole (cradle of Hindu architecture). Board return train in evening.

Important Booking Terms

Group Size: This package is structured for groups of 90 to 100 in Number.
Accompanying Staff: 6 Teachers accompany the group free of charge (13:1 student-to-teacher ratio cost included).
Uniforms: School / College uniforms are necessary to wear during the main day of the Study tour for identification.
Hotels & Transport: Deluxe and basic 3 Star hotels will be provided (triple or quad sharing). AC buses are used for all local transport.
Documentation: ID Cards of all members are mandatory. All documentation is handled jointly by the company and the institute.

Payment Schedule

50% of the land package amount required to book the package.
Railway or Air Ticket amount must be paid in full in advance.
45% of the land package amount must be paid 15 days before the tour.
5% balance amount shall be made within 7 working days post completing the trip.
